I am proud that the Conservative government has invested in Hull’s future, including £19.5 million for levelling up, £9m UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supporting the creation of a Freeport. I want us to go further and I’m backing our bid for devolution, a bid that will bring many benefits including a further £400m to our area and hand power to local people to deliver on what matters.
